Replacement Site Impact
A fresh new website is likely to engage more visitors and make them stay on your site and ultimately encourage more custom. And the stats can bare this out.
Here we discuss the effect on two of the earliest Dynamiser replacement websites.
Quality Garden Buildings
Comparing the first few months of the new site going live to the same months in the following year reveal the additional amount of new visitors.
In August 2018 there were 542 unique visitors.
In August 2019 this had more than doubled.
Summer is the peak time for Quality Garden Buildings but we can see the overall visitor numbers maintained over the 2018/19 winter period before growing during the spring/summer period of 2019. In fact July 2019 was the best month for sales ever for the business.
And the beauty of working with Dynamiser is the speed and ease of adding value via new projects such as QR Codes, periodic sales and integration with social media also helped contribute to the visitor stats, all pretty much impossible with their old website.
Aqua Hot Tubs
With Aqua Hot Tubs the impact, as well as increased visitor stats, was the Bounce Rate. This is the rate of visits where the visitor leaves the site without viewing any other pages; in other words, the visitor has not engaged. The lower the rate, the better.
- 26 to 40% is excellent
- 41 to 55% is roughly average
- 56 to 70% is higher than the average
- Anything over 70% could be deemed disappointing
We can see below the Bounce Rte from the customer’s Google Analytics statistics for November. The stats show the site itself is being used less, which is normal for the winter period but the visitors that are still attracted are staying on the site. A rate of 1.03% is really impressive.
And the bounce rate for the last full week of November was even better, coinciding with their Black Friday promotion.
