Call To Action

Using images as menus is a great idea as we have seen, we can create striking menus or menu blocks with images sized to suit your needs.  Add in Titles and links and everything is set for your visitors.  Elementor does, however, provide the option to create Call To Action boxes.  These automatically come with image, text and button and can be tailored to suit your web site.  Many Elementor templates use these instead of just images as they are easier to create, maintain and be set for mobile and tablet far easier.

Let’s look at Call to Actions (or CTAs) and then discuss the pros and cons of both methods.

Call to Actions can be manipulated to show image above text/button or to the left or the right.  For our imaginary Farm below we have added CTAs for 3 of the products they offer. We have nice images, some explanation text and a button to see more.

Click on any of the buttons to see an example of how the individual pages could look.

Eggs

Large choice of eggs of different sizes and colours from many breeds, common and rare. Pick your own from our Hen houses.

Fresh Bread

Fresh bread made on our premises every day. Brown, White, Seeded or Soda. Take in the smell and take home something tasty

Honey

Boyne Hill is committed to the future of our bees and we have many UK based varieties producing tasty honey.

Let’s now change the CTAs to have the image on the left and not the top to see what that looks like.  While we are at it we can drop the CTAs onto an image to make even more of an impression.  Also, note the Ribbon on the Horse Riding CTA, these are a great way to further highlight important information such as offers or sales.  These can be added or removed very quickly as and when required depending on your business needs.

Still want your stylish menu blocks. It is still possible by changing the CTAs to merge the image and text/buttons into one block.  We can also remove any gaps between the blocks and add ribbons. See examples below, hover over the blocks to see grow and darken effects to help emphasise the menu option.
